Your Hosts
ArtistMelanie Royster
My art is rooted in a simple belief: we are all connected to nature, to one another, and to something bigger than ourselves.
Through my solo exhibition, Rooted in Connection, I explore the relationships between humanity and the natural world, inviting us to get curious about how we see ourselves and our place in it.
At Art Release, I’m inviting you into that exploration. I’ll guide you through a hands-on oil pastel workshop where you’ll experiment, express yourself, and create something that reflects your own perspective.
You don’t need to consider yourself an artist. You just need to be curious enough to see what happens when you create.
Dr. Jocelyn Logan-Friend
CEO, Logan & FriendsI believe some of the best things happen when we bring good people together, create space for curiosity, and see what unfolds.
As the founder of Logan & Friends, I spend my days reimagining what’s possible in education and creating opportunities for educators to think differently, ask better questions, and build the communities they want to be part of.
But I also believe educators deserve spaces where they can simply show up as themselves. Not to teach, lead, or figure something out for someone else. Just to connect, explore, laugh, and have a good time with people who get it.
That’s why I’m bringing you Art Release - bringing the people together, and setting the vibe for an afternoon where curiosity leads, creativity flows, and community happens naturally.
